Everything was good. Had the Crab cake, chard octopus and wagyu meatballs for appetizers. I definitely recommend them but they are expensive for the portions. The bread on the table was okay nothing special. For the main meal I had the chicken marsala which was pretty good. All the sides need to be purchased separately so I ordered the lobster mac and cheese. Was tasty as well. My sister had the truffle burger. I wanted to order a burger but the menu says medium rare only which was a little disappointing but I understand this is a steakhouse so I adjusted accordingly. Haven't been back in years since doing goggle reviews so it's been a long time. Classic bar setting and cozy dining room with attentive staff. We came for our wedding anniversary which we reserved through OpenTable. The place was pretty empty for the beginning of the work week. We ordered a couple of appetizer such as the maple glazed bacon and charred Spanish octopus. The bacon was unique with it's presentation style and offered a couple of dipping sauces on top of already being extremely flavorful. The charred octopus was good as well. The filet mignon is one of the juiciest and best I have eaten. Perfectly cooked. While I always look forward to their wonderful breads to begin the meal, I found them not to be as fresh as I remember. Shrimp cocktail, while excellent, was very expensive for 3 shrimp. Pass on the clams on a half shell. The salad wedge was wonderful. The baked potato was just perfect. The service with Sergio was just right.

Appetizers of baked clams and caesar salad were excellent. Filet mignon cooked just right. It was my birthday so dessert was on the house as was my margarita since I wore my Mets shirt (promotion wear Mets or Yankee gear and get a free drink! . Overall great night. Have eaten here many times and always consistently good. Waiters always efficient and nice.
Always a treat at Uncle Jack's. The staff is always attentive and the ambience is excellent. I cannot say enough about UJs. They have NEVER let me down with food or service. By far, the best steakhouse in NYC!
