Uncle Pete's Pizza

So, here's how I'm going to go about this review. It's at a 4.6 currently, I'm putting it at 3 for my wife's and my opinion. For her, it's too thin. It's literally less than .25 mm thin. I can't even imagine it's a cup of flour to make the dough realistically. It is crispy and nice though. The ingredients are 3x as high as the dough is. For me, the price. The ingredients are nice, it's 18 dollars for a 14 inch pizza. That's the only option. Which brings the whole ordeal with sausage and pepperoni for a 24 dollar 14 inch pizza, prior to taxes. The ingredients are great, I'm sure it's high end but it's still at the end of the day, a 14 inch pizza, again, a cup or so of flour. Being razer paper...

Called in the order and asked for a well done thin crust pizza. They told me the pizza would be ready in 30 minutes. They were very nice over the phone. The pizza was ready in 30 minutes, and it was absolutely terrific. Thin crispy crust well done. The service was very good. This is a carry out restaurant, and they take credit cards. They also accept phone orders as early as 3pm, even though the restaurant opens at 4pm. Parking in front, on the street, was easy. I'm going to try their meatballs next time. I will definitely be a repeat customer here when I am in the Westmont Downers Grove area. I was very happy, and I felt so guilty since I couldn't stop eating the pizza.

Way overhyped and prolly gonna be a victim of their own success. Make sure you read the reviews for directions on how to order because they don't have them on their website. It is NOT a dine in establishment...and all pick up orders have to be placed by phone. Yeah, good luck with that. You might get through after 40 attempts. Especially want to make aware those who, like us, were impressed by the rave reviews and made a long trek to check them out only to be told there was a 4 hour wait for pickup. And that we would still have to call even though we were standing right there.

FYI, you have to call as soon as it opens to place an order. I called around 430 PM on Friday and was told pizza will be ready at 820 pm to pick up. I paid when I got to the place. It’s a small place with, hole in the wall really. We got the halal pepperoni with hot honey drizzle. It’s nice that this place has a halal option for pepperoni. We liked it. It’s tavern style, very very thin and a bit crispy. All in all, a solid option especially for those that want halal pepperoni. Reserva una mesa ahora

Ok Westmont locals- thank me later! lol This BY FAR is one of theeeee best pizza spots! TIP: Order in advance! Pick up ONLY. Their cohesiveness in every pie is indescribable- seasoned to perfection and melts in your mouth. True Chicago tavern pizza. If you are one like me who’s missed out on ordering here because you forgot to order ahead, here are my Westmont recommendations: 1. KIMS UNCLE (who is Kim and who is her uncle!? Bon apetit!

We love this pizza! There's a reason NYT included this in their 25 Best Restaurants in Chicago Right Now April 2024. Order early and you'll get the most delicious pizza. Our favorite is sausage and pepperoni. We find it well worth the price.

The pizza is so damn good here! If you like thin and crispy pizza, this is the place! The cheese, sauce, and crust ratio is perfect. Cooked to perfection (cooked well done without asking for well done). I will be back MANY times!
