The restaurant and food was great. Uncle Sam's always does a wonderful job! What ruined everything was the driver. He parked illegally in front of my garage, which made it impossible for my girlfriend and the rest of my neighbor's to gain access to their garages. He reacted rude when asked to please move his vehicle. Instead he decided to roll down his window and start to yell at her. He continued to yell until the garage door was completely closed and she was inside. As a result my girlfriend lost her appetite and was not able to eat the food that was delivered. Uncle Sam's Restaurant impressed us with its delectable wings and fries. Sharing the large Philly cheesesteak fries was a delight—it hit the spot perfectly. Had a Stromboli (Italian sausage and mushroom) ehhh it was ok. Not very doughy. Got zucchini sticks WITH RANCH, which were directly out of a bag. its a peeve of mine, but when I got the bill it was an extra $0.99 for ranch. If something says it comes with ranch (or even if it doesnt) a side sauce shouldn't be an extra charge. Unless there is a condiment shortage I'm not aware of. Plus I got a 1/4 cheesesteak that cost $8! What a damn joke. This place is nothing to write home about.
Two of three of my meals in this order were wrong. Asked for no onions due to an allergy and it was loaded with them! Ordered a calzone for a vegetarian that came with meat sauce and pepperoni. Will not order from this restaurant again. Looks like we are having cereal for dinner.

The fried Mushrooms are the best I have ever had. These are no pre-frozen appetizers. The mushrooms are fresh, large, battered, and literally fried to perfection. I have ordered only the Mushrooms to go because Im now addicted. 20 yrs and still the best.
I love this Sandwich its closest to my favorite...which can only be found in another city.I ask for extra pepperoncini which if it has a bunch and its is what i am looking for.but its never enough pepperoncinni....Still one of the best out there!!
This is one of my favorite dive restaurants in Phoenix. The staff is lovely and the food is always crave-worthy. Wings and cheesesteaks are top tier! Fried mushrooms are addictive.
cheese steak was nice. good bread. the thin crust pizza needed longer in the oven for the crust to firm up in the middle. i thew it in my oven for a bit and then it was grand
