Uncle Tom's Barbecue

Very sad for me to see such mediocre ratings on a place I have come to love! I have heard though that under their new management that they have really turned the tables in what they are doing. My first interaction with Uncle Tom's is at their Pinecrest location that eventually closed down.......it was completely terrible! Thank the lord my experience here yesterday was nothing of the like and my boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our meals.<br/ <br/ I got the full rack of ribs that comes with fries and cole slaw. Great food and service. Staff was friendly and attentive. Got the pulled pork baker and my gf got the pulled chicken baker. Potatoes were good sized and loaded with meat. Both the pork and chicken were flavorful and moist. Even with 4 sodas and a bottled water to go it was still less than $30. Great deal for great food.Food: 5/5

I don’t normally write reviews so when I take time out of my day to do so, it must be really bad. Ribs were dry, practically inedible. Brisket, so thinly sliced that it is not BBQ. Mac and Cheese was basically just Velveta. The fact that this place calls itself a BBQ Restaurant is horrifying. Stay the hell away.Food: 1/5

The lunch specials are such a great value. I had a pulled pork sandwich, fries and coleslaw, all of which were good. I also had the key lime pie which was perfect. It was creamy with just the right amount of tartness. All this with a soft drink for $8! Now that is hard to beat.

Clean, friendly service, the best smoked ribs in town, new owners that really know the business, nothing to do with the previous ones.
