I ate here many years ago, well worth the wait to come back. My wife’s nephew married a local, she had never been but was impressed. It’s become a lot brighter and inviting inside since my last visit. I had the half roasted duck “house style” (with Calvados sauce and pepper corn cream sauce), rosti and braised red cabbage, so good. No idea how they get skin so crispy but not dried out. The menu is basically sides and sauces to go with a half carved at the table roast duck. They are flexible about substituting sides and also have 2 or 3 non duck dishes. Nephew had a 2 year old and 2 month old, they were welcomed.

I was in this restaurant for the second time, I actually live in Berlin. The ducks really taste delicious and are cooked to the point, rarely eaten such a perfect duck. The red cabbage and the lumps were also very delicious. The only thing that disturbed me this time was the sauce. We were victorious and had different sauces. I had classically prepared duck, the sauce was rather boring, the Calvados sauce I didn't think so well. The service was excellent, the service was very attentive and responded quickly and friendly despite stress.

The reservation via OpenTable and the subsequent telephone reservation for another person has worked perfectly. Food and service were excellent. We were all satisfied. At any time recommended!

Unfortunately, the robust handling of a cellar was not so good. Unordered food without apology cleansed again. Come back!
