Underground Coffee Ales

Amazing! A restaurant is more than the food it serves; it's about an experience. Underground had not delivered the experience or served edible food. The Hamburger I ordered medium was almost burned, the veggie wrap of my friend was a few vegetables surrounded by a gooey crust. The fries (my spell) had enough salt to melt the ice on a walkway. The waitress showed us no interest. Expects that a restaurant serving the population of a small city would try to retain new visitors as customers. Not underground. Up prices. Check-out time brings an intelligent pad to the face with a large display asking for a tip. No reception available except the web or text. Then to insult the bad service and barely edible food is a request to buy the kitchenman a round of drinks for $7; Why? I typed the 15% tip and went out. It could be worse because in the restaurant last week a few doors were removed that made us aware of the existence of the underground. This nearby place was worse. Why is this happening in Highland? Maybe because of the Walk Way on the Hudson that brings tourists who never return. The non-maintaining restaurant owner can search for a :quick buck '.

It's an open atmosphere inside with a few tables (that were sticky ? and a nice sized bar. I'm not a coffee person, but it looked like they can make a variety of coffees! There's a few tables outside as well, on the sidewalk. The bathrooms are pretty tight, there's two, one on each side of the restaurant. The menu selection is great and the food tasted fresh and delicious.

I love the atmosphere of this place! Large selection of drinks, including coffee, beer, wine and cider. I also like how they have a selection of games to play if you want to hang up a bit. First visit was only for drinks, but their food options also looked great.

Amazing staff and service. Large beer selection. Hot honey was the best chicken sandwich I ever had honestly. Such unique aromas. Everyone loved food there and ate everything. Will be many times in the future!

I love this place. The servers are great. The chefs give a damn about the quality of food and its presentation. Beers and coffee are always top Notch. Great place to sit and enjoy a few!
