I stopped by Underhills on a Saturday afternoon. Since I was alone, I sat at the bar. After a cocktail, and my favorite Lobster Bisque, Adam leaned over and suggested the one of the specials...the Cavatelli Pasta; a dish with a brilliant, light silantro based tomato sauce, homemade lamb sausage, topped with mozzarella. Wow! I learned how a marriage of tastes can make eating a meal fun and educational experience. What was so educational about it? A great place for dinner. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you'll get your money's worth. Attentive service for sure. Busier on weekends. Large outdoor heated space and live piano music. Nice atmosphere and dining room. You start with sliced bread with olive oil, lentils, and chipped parmesan cheese, which is a nice touch. We had tuna tartar and a frisee salad for appetizers that were ample sized and good quality. Entrees were rack of lamb that was 4 meaty chops and a rock shrimp risotto that was out of this world. It came topped with king caviar, which is less salty than most. Dessert was a creme brulee and coffee. Street parking, handicap accessible.

We frequent this restaurant for all of our special occassions and they have been nothing short of SUPERB!! Last night we celebrated our 29th Anniversary... Greeted by warm welcoming smiles then escorted to the beautiful outdoor dining area which set the tone for a memorable evening. The food, drinks service team were magnificent!!! We had a great birthday dinner at Underhills Crossing. The service and the ambience was top notch. Danny, Alfredo, and Elena made the whole experience so special us. Mike was lovely on the piano as well. We had the scallops and the cascatelli pasta and both were delicious. Underhills Crossing is a culinary treasure for the town of Bronxville and I am so impressed by the consistently high standards of hospitality it holds. Compliments to the owner, the chef and the kitchen staff, and the rest of the management team!

Went to this restaurant for the first time tonight and have to say how incredible the ambiance and service was! We sat outdoors and just loved the decoration and how cozy/warm it was. The restaurant has a very sophisticated and beautiful decor. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming to all guests, creating a down-to-earth atmosphere.
