A great time spent in this family restaurant for 11 people on 10 August. The products are fresh and treated with love by a chef certainly passionate about his profession. Note the attention that is brought to the conservation of heat because many dishes are served in cast iron coconuts to provide an optimal tasting. Ah, the lost brioche... A big thank you to the ten restaurants of the Île de Noirmoutier that have proved uncommon for a reservation and which allowed us to discover this beautiful establishment. ;
I had a really good meal here. I took the 37e menu and had the St Jaques vol au vent with curry sauce, the farci with crab and crevette sauce and the chocolate moelleaux. The thing that made it all good was there there were so many different tastes in each dish. The scallops had a lovely base sauce in the vol au vent but then also other interesting additional flavours around the bowl. The farci had the white fish, crab, crevettes, lots of flavors all to enjoy. Very interesting meal
Very nice discovery for our first day at the Barre de Monts. Entrances (carpaccio de melon, sardines à l'escabèche), dishes (bonite, sea sauerkraut or bavette) and desserts were all tasty and pleasant to look. The service is effective, even for a table of 9 with children. The child menu is also well adapted and the fare for all is reasonable.
Quality of products, presentation and kitchen down:3 pieces of salad, of dried goat on bread too heated, Chucroute accompanied by lemon, tomato ?)presented in a factout, unidentifiable fish because too cooked, perfect white butter sauce,meal mules, shocked with a slight bitterness. A great disappointment over previous years.

Take a little bit spoiled by my dish "Vol with the wind veal rice" which was cold; This should not happen in a restaurant called gastronomic. Otherwise excellent bull steak. A little expensive.
