Our family has been going to the Union Hotel Restaurant Bar for years. It's one of our favorites in Benicia! The owner and his daughters are usually working. They are lovely and clearly put a lot of care into the menu and service. You can't go wrong withanything on the menu delicious cocktails, salads, pastas and other mains, as well as desserts. It's also good value for money!Sit in the bar for a warm, casual experience or in the dining room which has a beautiful fireplace and traditional stained glasswindows. P.S. it's a great spot to hold an event/party.
Had a great experience here tonight. It was a Monday afternoon and our usual places in town were all closed. We decided on the Union Hotel because it was open and didn't look to busy. We opted to eat outside due to the fact it was a nice day. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The food was all very good. I had the special brown butter sage butter but squash ravioli and my fiancé had the filet with the spinach salad. Thank you for a very plesant afternoon.
This charming local restaurant offers fantastic food. We started with the mushrooms in a red wine sauce (not shown in the photo), which were outstanding. For our main courses, we enjoyed the dry-aged ribeye and the salmon, both of which were delicious. Despite having only one server for the entire restaurant, he was extremely hardworking and provided excellent service. We will certainly return!
Wow! The food was amazing! Three of us dined here and shared our dishes, and all three meals were outstanding. I don't think you can make a bad choice on the menu, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous! Incredible living history and delicious dinner! Meals a little pricey but very much worth it with fresh high quality ingredients. I just got a caesar salad and pizza cause I'm cheap, but it was amazing. I'll be back for an entree
Excellent food! Had ribeye which was perfect ..... with delicious roast potatoes and spinach. And we had the linguine .....wow..... Will definitely come back. Service goof and friendly. Nice atmosphere inside but we sat outside.
