camping overall ok, although it is in the middle of nothing and they need to go on individual roads to get there. the institutions are not least to say. so called 'pool bath' is located in what looks like a falling greenhouse with glass. broken and lined and wrapped and the water is green! there is no possibility that it is sanitary, could not even smell chlorine in the water. I wouldn't use it if you paid me. the washing machines are located directly next to the elsan point in the open position. must be a hygienic holiday somewhere? the toilets or showers do not use in front of location, but reliably informed it was disgusting! for a website that calculates £30 per night, I expect much bett...
We came to this restaurant for the first time after hearing about it two weeks ago, and we loved it so much that we decided to park our caravans here! Angie and her family are friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious. Joey's Bar is a fantastic spot for drinks and dancing, with great music and a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant's website is beautiful and relaxing, and the staff are friendly. There is also a beautiful sea view, and my husband even started fishing! Overall, we see everything as a positive, especially since other local restaurants may not have a pool, bar, restaurant, or club. We can understand why there are positive reviews about this place.
We arrived at the car park and were greeted by a beautiful view of the sea. Finding our parking space was easy, and we quickly set up our campervan. However, the outdated 1960s toilet blocks and showers were not up to par. There was no restaurant available at night, only a burger bar, and the swimming pool was still under construction. Despite the high nightly charge of £35, there was an additional fee of £3 for non-guests just to visit the property. The overall experience was disappointing and we would not choose to stay here again. The facilities were in need of a complete renovation.

We stayed here as a family group and unanimously would not return. This is a site to keep away from. The caravan and camping area is OK and fishing lake is good but rest of facilities are very poor. 2 toilets and showers each for...men and women for site. The washing up area was one sink right next to elan disposal out in open. The standard of fittings and buildings were like 1970's DIY. The swimming pool has health and safety issues and overall the facilities on site were not very clean. Again the bar and restaurant were very dated and bar staff not very welcoming.
Restaurant- friendly staff, helpful, good choice of adult child meals. Good portions. Recommend will return. Campsite- improvements have been made since our last stay. Pretty fishing lake. Toilets showers kept clean. There’s a swimming pool. Key entry to help with site security....We liked the floodlight near the toilets, it definitely helped with seeing in the dark! Water did come in under our tent from the rain, not the sites fault. Will be staying again.
This was my first visit to this lovely place. The staff was excellent. We enjoyed Joey's bar on Saturday night and everyone had a fantastic time. The pitches were a good size, with each one offering a view of the lake. Wishing the team a successful year in 2019.
Came for the weekend. Lot's of friends. Great for camping and fishing. A lovely swimming pool but no life guard so take responsibility of your own. Showers and toilets on site. Great staff, funny and friendly. Been here for food a few times. DELICIOUS.

A lovely clean site, restaurant, pub, club, swimming pool free fishing. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Not moved our caravan off there for 6 years.
