Terrible, terrible food, very, very dirty restaurant, bench seats were in such bad condition, (dirty and torn) I could hardly bring myself to have a seat . (I was with friends that really wanted to 'try this place out') or I would have left immediatly.The photo above is NOT of this establishment. I have to wonder where on earth Health Inspectors are when places like this can keep operating. Sure the staff may be friendly but that doesn't mean it's worth taking a chance eating here.The cooks screwed up 3 orders while we sat there waiting for ours, one of which was also missing ingredients. The waitress didn't even offer to take any $$ off the bill for messing up the order. Do yourself a favou...

A typical small town Cafe.....coffee cups on the table and the waitress brings the coffee pot over with the menus. My friend likes to go here once a month for the omelet...it looked very tasty..see photos. I, being a vegetarian ordered the Ruben Sandwich without the meat ( they even took a few $$ off the price). I am used to Rye bread being a dark brown and thinly sliced...also I was quite disappointed with the 'processed' 'swiss' cheese. The chips were great and the extra hot mustard added flavour to the sandwich. Would be nice if one did not have view of the toilets while eating..... A meeting place for lots of locals.

I have visited this restaurant several times for breakfast and have always been happy with the food and service. This is a fairly small restaurant with friendly staff. The food is tasty but nothing special. The restaurant is cozy, if a little cluttered, the furniture and cutlery is not new but that does not diminish from the food or friendly atmosphere. I would not agree with the last reviewer that this place is a mess, dirty or that the food is terrible.

I visit Uptown Grill about once a month for breakfast. The food is always hot and fresh, the staff are friendly, and the coffee keeps on coming. The atmosphere is cozy, very clean and the servers remember us. Come expecting diner style food. I love the hashbrowns. And the chicken caesar wrap (though not for breakfast and not with hashbrowns:).

I have been here quite a few times for lunch and I am always happy with the food and the service. It has a pretty typical diner feel, nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about either. Lunch specials every day are a great price. I recommend the chicken salad sandwich...it's delicious!

I enjoy this cafe at least once a month, love the breakfasts, burger and fries and the steak dinner, my folks go for the Liver lunch off of the Senior's menu, always enjoyable and very friendly service

We try and go here every weekend since we moved here a year and a half ago. The service is amazing, very personable, friendly waitresses. The food is delicious too. Recommend this place for sure.

My daughter and I enjoyed this lovely little place. Walked in and it reminded me of a diner I would have gone to as a child. The food was fresh and hot, the service was very good.

Change is not always good. Was a regular for the club house, was the best in town. New owner have changed the club house and it's not the same. No longer a regular.

Family, breakfast and Uptown Grill- you really can't go wrong. It's so good and super friendly service! Mmmm the hash browns!
