(No scenic views views are of the parking lot and street) Parking is plentiful and the restaurant is right off route 196/Lewiston Road. Reservations are recommended for weekends but luckily we were sat within minutes (we arrived around 5:30pm). Sara was our waitress what a sweet, cheerful and lovely face! Ordered a Pilsner that was not hoppy, was light, crisp and went well with the burger I ordered. Husband ordered ribs that were filling, meat was falling off the bones, great in flavor, honey citrus glaze made his taste buds sing. I had my hopes up for this place, as the menu looked good. We went here during a heat wave, partly to escape the heat. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was minimal, and although it was cooler than outside, I was lightly sweating the whole time, and I don't like very cold AC. Re the food, the server got one of our orders wrong, was politely apologetic, then brought the correct main course with the wrong potatoes. The fries were mediocre, and for some bizarre reason had sugar on them. Our other main course was good. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

One of our favorite places to stop for dinner on our way to our campsite. They have a great selection of drinks, a delicious rotating menu, and a friendly staff. We haven't been disappointed yet! Plus, their deck is dog-friendly as long as the dogs are well-behaved and respectful of the resident cat that lounges there.

Ended up here for lunch because Freeport was packed and busy. Just a little farther up the road and a great choice. All four of us enjoyed our meals. The sesame ginger salad dressing stood out. This place is next to a garden center in the middle of nowhere but it has the best organic food. You won't regret eating here. It's a hidden gem. Worth the trip to eat here
