On a day visit to Southend and just needed a quick breakfast so popped in here and ordered a Bacon Sandwich for my son and I. BEST BACON SANDWICHES WE'VE EVER HAD! Loads of really tasty bacon. The cafe is worth a visit even if you are not in need of food as it's really quirky with armchairs as well as the usual cafe seating. Upstairs is like an art gallery with more eclectic seating and craft type decorations. Loved it!
Frequent visitor here. My visit Saturday morning did not disappoint! There with my husband and hound, I ordered 2 oat flat whites, peanut butter on granary toast, and a bacon sandwich. The bacon sandwich here is the best bacon sandwich in Southend. Probably the best in Essex. Friendly service as always! Thanks
So friendly. Better coffee than Costa and the best pain au chocolat I've had outside France. It was cash only but there is a cash machine 1 min away. Homemade cakes made to order sandwiches Love this place long may it prosper.
