UPDATE: The restaurant contacted me regarding an issue with the menu that occurred last minute. I appreciate their willingness to address it, as most places wouldn’t bother. The rest of the food was fantastic and shouldn't be overshadowed by a misunderstanding about the sub roll. Their customer service was excellent! I usually love this restaurant, which is why I don't want to give them a review under 3 stars, but tonight was a bit disappointing. My boyfriend ordered me an eggplant parm sub, which was supposed to come on a hoagie roll, but no one informed him that they were out of rolls. My wife and I absolutely adore the Valatie Bar and Grill. We live right down the street and frequently stop by for lunch or dinner. They serve the best hand-cut fries! The food is outstanding, and the bar has a fantastic selection. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful, sometimes even featuring live music. They recently renovated the interior, and it looks beautiful. We really appreciate all the staff there; it feels just like Cheers, where everyone knows our name!
