Valencia Vineyard Restaurant

We went on a Swan Valley half day wine tour with lunch for my dads birthday, this place was recommended by the tour operator. From the initial booking the operator was trying to get us to pre order our meals.There was only 6 of us so we decided to choose on the day. When we were picked up, again we were asked to pre order. We were handed a flyer with only 3 items to choose from (Chicken Pie, ploughmans lunch I think the black olive tart) None of these were appealing so we decided to order from the full menu once we arrived. Yes, divine, i shall be worshiping more food and drink from here very soon. I stumbled across Valencia Restaurant during a drive through the swan valley one weekend. I have been back afew times now and have to say, i just adore the place. The food is unpretentious and delicious, mind you, I have had the same thing on each of my visits, the 'black olive tart ' (i think i 'm addicted to it), so i can 't really give comment to the rest of the menu on a taste basis however everything i have seen float past me on my visits has looked and smelt so good, 'rustic ' is a great word to describe it. Just been reading review by Raven567, cannot believe such vitriol, have been going to the restaurant for twenty plus years and have had lunches there with both family and friends, have never heard such comments as everyone we have known to go there regards it as very special and Margie the owner is the most obliging of hosts and goes out of her way to look after her guests, we were there for lunch recently and it is was as always a delightful place to go with a wonderful atmosphere and the food is terrific, I would be happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good food at reasonable prices in a delightful outdoor setting though there is the option of indoors if the weather is no...

Had lunch with family and friends here, hadn't been for a few years. The food was all made with fresh local produce. A nice quiet cosy place to take visitors for a relaxing lunch in tranquil surrounds.

A delicious meal in a warm cosy room and wonderfully friendly helpful staff. We were late for much but still I was suprised to find that we were the only customers. We would definitely go back again.
