After leaving IKEA, I took the scenic route home and decided to look for a diner. I came across the Valley Diner and chose to stop by. The menu featured some unique items alongside classic favorites. I ordered the grilled cheese short rib sandwich, which came with caramelized onions, arugula, and gouda, and it was outstanding! My dinner soup and nachos were also delicious. If you're traveling between Newburgh and Highland, NY, make sure to stop by!
We live just down the street from Valley Diner, and during our busy summer pool season, we eat there about twice a week. The food is fantastic with plenty of options, and the staff is wonderful. Denna has become more than just someone who serves us delicious meals; she has become a friend. We always enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly faces, making it one of our favorite places to dine!

We visited the Valley Diner after dropping our daughter off for a summer program at the C.I.A. The service was quick and friendly, and the menu offered an extensive variety of options. We received dinner from this restaurant while my husband was in the hospital for a week. I recently heard they are closing the diner to open something new, and I hope that's not true. It has been a wonderful experience with incredibly delicious food.
The food is excellent, but there are significant issues with flies and leaks in the ceiling during rainy weather. Both of these problems are quite unsanitary and should be addressed as soon as possible.
This is always a great place to grab a quick bite. Staff are friendly. Portions are generous and tasty. I love their cannoli pancakes or their natty cheeseburger.
