I tried to email privately, but the email would not send through the website. I wanted to let you know about our experience on Friday night. My husband and I ate in the restaurant. I ordered the combo platter and he ordered pasta. The food was amazing. Healthy portions. Very nice. However, we ordered a to go meal of brisket. When we got it home, there was less than a handful of meat in the box. There were four pieces of brisket less than an inch thick. We were so disappointed, especially for the price of the dinner (I believe it was 23 or 26). I just wanted to let you know. Food was good but small portions. Upon arrival a young lady took our drink order and said she’d be our server. 15 minutes later a young man brought our drinks and explained he was taking over because our first server went home. Said if we needed anything to let him and started to walk away. I said we’d like to place our order since we’d been there 15 minutes already. He took our order and never saw him again for 15 more minutes when he brought our food. 20 minutes later and hadn’t seen him again and we needed refills on drinks. although it took a small minute until the waiter welcomed us, he was excellent. I think his name was joey or john, but he was friendly and very well informed about the products. our eating was the bomb. the drinks were different, but suffered and tasted great. the mac and the cheese were quite hard and there were not enough sweet potato with my garnel, but the meat was tender and fell from the bone. they didn't have the gloomy I wanted so Joey/John recommended the rips and they were excellent. overall the experience was amazing and I will definitely return again.

Overall Service and food was great. We sat outside in May and it wasn’t too hot. It was beautiful being by the water and seeing the boats pass.They were kinda skimpy on meat portions. I would have liked to have seen more for the price but hey ??‍. Drinks were great and there was usually someone coming by asking if we needed anything- so service is top of line here. I would still come back. The food did taste really good.

Great location for BBQ, the service, decor and menu are great and the appetizers are excellent. Order a brisket sandwich with Mac n Cheese for the main course which were just OK. There is definitely better bbq in Jax, but if you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere that has tons of alcohol options, then this is your place. There is a putting green in the back too with ample indoor and outdoor seating.
