I 've been a regular at Vapiano for 12 years, and this was the worst visit ever—a complete disappointment! As early as 6:30 p.m. (5 hours before closing time! , there were only two types of pasta left, and unfortunately, they were very similar (linguine and spaghetti . The restaurant wasn 't even close to being full, yet the kitchen was in chaos. We weren 't asked if we wanted anything to drink or if we wanted some bread. These are things you 're usually always asked. When we asked about it, the response was rude. The salt shaker on the table was empty, and we needed a lot of salt because the food was so bland. The food is good. I had the lasagna, not the best, but my friends' pasta dishes were good. A nice concept, although it's a bit of a challenge when no one explains things to you upon arrival. The staff wasn't very friendly. The red wine we wanted on the menu was unfortunately out, but they didn't offer any suggestions for what we could have. I'm afraid they didn't put gin in my gin and tonic either. And unfortunately, I didn't see any of the staff smiling, only with each other behind the bar. The atmosphere was good, even if you make your own. I've had an equally good or better meal elsewhere. I'd rather not go back.
Note January 7, 2026: The owner is now trying to contest the bad reviews on Google, which says it all about the management. Review August 2024: Unfortunately, it wasn't good at all. I had pasta, and it had a strange texture, and the sauce was quite watery. The service was a bit odd, as if they hadn't been there very long. But what annoyed me most was that I bought a tiramisu to take away for €5, and the cocoa on top had mold (very slight mold, and I wasn't entirely sure), the cream tasted somewhat bitter, and in some parts, it was sour. I think the dessert was no longer good, so I threw it away as a precaution.
We ate Gamberetti e Spinaci with Linguine there on December 10, 2025. Everything was perfect and tasted great and Reef 'N ' Beef with spaghetti. Unfortunately, there were no cherry tomatoes or basil; instead, there was flat-leaf parsley on top. I also noticed that all the staff wearing white blouses were rumpled and unironed. Appearance matters to me. The staff were all very friendly. We found it very noisy there, even though there weren 't many guests at 5:15 pm. The restrooms appeared to be very clean.

On our last visit, everything was very dirty, and the staff seemed unmotivated and overwhelmed. The food was as usual. P.S. Instead of addressing the situation, management prefers to have reviews professionally deleted; my wife received a notification to that effect. Hence my belated review on top of everything else. One review becomes two! We also have some photos as evidence somewhere in the cloud. Best regards.
We ate there on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, they didn't have any pizza that evening. Of the eight pasta dishes listed on the menu, only three were available. There was practically no dessert, and the chocolate cake they did have was still frozen. All in all, a very poor showing for a pizzeria.
The pasta was tasty, but for €16 you can get that quality at any Italian restaurant… The carpaccio was awful, €15 for brown meat with just a few raw mushrooms carelessly drizzled on top. It's a shame, I used to like Vapiano…
Hier war ich schon mehrmals und wenn man nicht gerade zu den Stoßzeiten kommt, dann ist es dort sehr angenehm und immer lecker
