spent the day in the spa yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic. beautiful location and building. many parking spaces. beautifully greeted, taken around and shown what we need to know during our day. whole body massage (by beth was only happy and I didn't want it to end. when the sun was outside, we lay one out, and while there weren't enough beds for us, the workers wanted to get another than I asked. it was not so busy, so I wonder if this often happens on sunny days. had a nice lunch, and my only criticism was that this took a long time. 2 1/2 hours to lunch and we had to overthrow our dessert as we had to go around 2.30 for the school run (boo)! I would go back in a second! it was the perfect day. the pool looked amazing how the jacuzzi, steam bath and sauna, although we ran out when time to use it! the workers we very welcome and helpful. highly recommended.
Just love staying at this wonderful Marriott Hotel, from the professional welcome to the service provided by the whole team and the accommodation especially overlooking the lake on the golf course made everything amazing. The setting with the sweeping drive is just awesome. Expensive but worth every penny...... one small tip, although the breakfast team were excellent in every way the sausages werent on both mornings they were sour and actually smelt as if they had gone off.
we had a nice spa package, a night, treatments, dinners, fantastic breakfast and a lunch. the personal was universally beautiful. but it's a tough couple of years for the hotel trade and it shows up a bit here. large room with two double beds, nice bed linen, but carpet threadable to places. wonderful ground for a walk and a beautiful spa. also the treatments were excellent.
I was a guest to the breakfast. so much choice of eating and drinking. eat them as much as they are for good under £10. You are not rushing at all. beautiful plots, free time facilities look beautiful. worth a visit. my friend, who is a member, loves it there as it has a very welcoming, relaxing feeling for it. with a filling of classes and facilities.
