The VarieTee (formerly known as First Flush is conveniently located at the Marktplatz, close to the old town hall and offers very nice views if you sit outside. I've been here several times, sometimes for coffee or tea and cake, sometimes for lunch or dinner....Always the beverages and the food are of high quality and the dishes are nicely executed. No sloppy plates leave the kitchen, your meal is always as pleasing for the eye as it is pleasing for your stomach. During this visit, the four of us had two salads, which were fresh and the dressing was very well seasoned, one piece of quiche with asparagus and the falafel plate. All found our approval. Whilst the cakes were very good, it was disappointing that it was not possible for two people to share a pot of tea especially after having already ordered two pieces of cake. It created the impression of prioritising commercial gain rather than customer satisfaction. Despite...appearing to be a place that would offer good customer service, it is somewhat lacking.

VarieTee is located on the market square "Markt It is beautifully decorated with Pre-Raphaelite reproductions. A variety of exotic teas are available, as well as delicious cookies and cakes. True, it's a bit expensive, but complaining about the price is unfair, seeing as it's all...noted on the menu. Besides, you are also paying for the atmosphere.

Not the cheapest place in town but possibly one of the cutest one. All the details harmonize perfectly in this wonderful and super central location. The tea specialties compete with very good international food also presented in an impeccable way. Perfect for a date if...you want to impress you seweetie..

The Flamkuchen were not in the menu when we asked for it because we have eaten them here before. The cook prepared them for us and they were even better than the previous time with a lot of ‘Spargel’ the Spanish wine was excellent. Good...place to with reasonable prices for excellent food

great lactose free matcha cappuccino. The cakes were amazing to die for! unfortunately they did not have lactose free cakes but there is an option on the menu that is usually available. I had a tiny bite of the mascarpone pistache, very good. Great service, friendly staff

This place has cozy vibes and also good taste of tea and sweets. Matcha latte is perfectly made. Service is always friendly with a smile. Average price. The restaurant ambience is nice.
