I had a Sunday roast from the Xmas menu, my wife had the duck , both meals should of been served with heritage carrots and chestnuts with sprouts) there were non on the plate. Both meals lacked taste, very bland except the red cabbage which was nice, The gravy was disappointing along with the hard and over cooked roast potatoes, the duck was very badly cooked in fact it was tough and inedible, the beef was standard, nice place very trendy, service was on the slow side considering the quality of the food and number of diners. I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed with the quality and price, because we do support local businesses in Ashbourne when we can but sadly will not be return...

apparently, eating was prepared earlier during the day and left in hot plates. vegetables were boiled and meat was dry. a little disappointing that a Sunday dinner was so poor. However, the venue and staff were much better than the quality of lunch.

We went to the Micheal Buble evening it was great entertainment. The food was excellent. The staff very efficient and friendly. Can’t wait for our next visit.
