My family has always loved loved loved Vedder Sushi! It was the place in our household for sushi. But since going back after things returned normalish from Covid, it’s been extremely disappointing!! Their sizes have gone way down to the price of their food. Not only that but the quality as well. Most of the time their tempura has been soggy and not cooked long enough, leaving the yams extremely that’s to eat through. There rolls and sauces hardly hold any flavour. Sushi can be hit or miss. You would think it's not hard to make simple rolls but you try a million different places and they s#!t the bed.Vedder sushi knows what's up! They know the simplicity of flavors and combinations. Their chopped scallop roll is perfect. A mix of cucumber, masago and scallops. Delicious. Instant favorite.Their dynamite roll is the same way. Lots of avocado and cucumber inside. I always opt for no pollock meat in the dyno rolls.I also tried their lobster roll and hot damn! Food was good. I found it to be pricey compared to other places about $5 more. Combos similar were $12-$15 thier's was $19. So a big jump. Also the waitress was very rude seamed like I was a pain being there. Had to ask for even a drink to be brought after my food came. Never got a refill when asked and once my food was given I never saw her again. So that was a big disappointment and there was only me and another 1 person table.

I usually always get take out… however when I dine in the service has been great. I love this establishment. It is my go to before anywhere else. My fav is the spicy crunch roll… among other items… Reserva una mesa ahora

I get sushi here once a month after hiking. Best sushi in Chilliwack. Dine in atmosphere is comfortable. Food is superd. Takeout is just as good as the dine-in.

Good food but really bad service. We’ve given them a couple chances cause the food is good but it’s not worth it. Wouldn’t dine in again.

The rolls are pretty good. The chicken kaarage was a little burnt though. Seating is tight and not really suitable for big groups. Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent service. Food was amazing! Definitely worth it to check this place out!! Their lunch combos were awesome
