My friend and I had the loveliest 4 hours here last night. Such a warm welcome from Sandra on arrival, who was very attentive and patient all evening. The food was delicious, just gorgeous. We both had a pasta dish each, salad, aubergine stew side, bread and tapenade, all were very reasonably priced and very high quality. Being given a little taste of the wine before we chose, was a very nice touch that not many places do anymore, we appreciated that. It had a relaxed and vibrant feel. Visited this evening with some work colleagues. We were unsure on where to go as we are not from Leicester, we decided to go for Italian and came across this restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed and casual. Our waitress Lene was very friendly. She was very busy serving other tables, but she was very attentive and apologetic. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious too. The venue has a lot of choice of food and drinks. If I am in Leicester again soon, I would not hesitate to return
My wife and I did the Fine Italian Wine Tasting and had an amazing time. Each wine was explained, and we were given food pairing suggestions. Our server was Lene and she made us feel especially welcome and was clearly passionate about the wines. The charcuterie board was lovely, and plenty. Lots of meats and cheeses. And the dessert was amazing a white chocolate and pistachio tiramisu. I would go back just for that. Overall, a 5 star experience and great value for money.
We had a lovely meal, we were sat next to the open kitchen and it actually turned out to be lovely. Staff advised us to try a lovely red wine. The chef was super friendly and as they had sold out of the pistachio tiramisu made one with a special pistachio paste, he even advised us where to visit on our next holiday too!! Food was incredible and very authentic. Highly recommended. Great staff, food and atmosphere.

I don't get how the reviews are so good. Had the Rossi experience and it was awful. 2 type of meat and some olives and then so much bread. I questioned the food and they said they had forgotten the cheese and then proceeded to bring out cubes of parmesan!! It was awful. I would say avoid this particular experience because it's not value for money unless you like bread!
Happily surprised to go upstairs to find a large dining area. Good ambience. Food was really good though a bit slow to bring it out .. not sure if we were meant to order in advance. Our order taker was very enthusiastic and helpful in explaining and recommending things on the menu. Overall happy with the experience and would definitely recommend.
The staff at Veeno (especially Vanesa) are true experts in their craft, and their passion for all things Italian is infectious. They greeted me with genuine smiles and were more than happy to help me navigate through their extensive selection of wines and delectable snacks.
I have been Veeno a few times love their cheese and wine experience! Also the trip to Sicily experience.. surprising always filing! Staff have always been helpful and go through each wine with the experience and how it complements the nibbles!
