Firstly, I would absolutely buy from this business again because I think it's great. 100% vegan, involved in the local community via social media, and the business model seems to be going from strength to strength. It's exactly the kind of business we should be continuing to support with our custom so they can keep growing! We recently visited the new Vegan Bay Baker's shop in Peterhead over the weekend. The macaroni pies were fantastic, the potato and leek pie was delicious, and the donuts and cinnamon swirls were also excellent. Everything was flavorful and perfectly baked. We will definitely be coming back for another visit soon! And a note on the macaroni pies - I usually don't like them, even the vegan versions, but my partner and I both agree that the ones at Vegan Bay Baker's are amazing, even compared to non-vegan ones.
last weekend we visited the new load from vegan bay baker in peterhead. the macaroni pies* were amazing, the potato and lynx cake was very tasty, followed by donuts and cinnamon whirls, which were also excellent. everything is full of taste and baked for perfection. we'll be going back soon! *a word on makkaroni cake. This baker hits all of the local farmers markets and stocks a few local shops (like Butterfly Effect Banchory every week. I was able to get in the queue for when they came to Aboyne Farmers Market this past weekend and their bakes are insanely delicious- even better than their non-veg counterparts. He has everything from butteries and softies to donuts and cinnamon rolls to sausage rolls and fresh breads. A must- try to track down if you’re in greater Aberdeenshire.
