We had a great time at the restaurant. Our group mostly ordered the famous butter chicken and it did not disappoint! The tandoori dishes were cooked in a rich, creamy sauce. The spinach, garlic, and cheese naan bread was tasty, although a bit greasy. The menu was extensive, which was great for one of our guests who wasn't a fan of Indian cuisine. They were able to order chips and calamari instead. Our guest opted for the bay bugs in a milder sauce and really enjoyed it. The price was reasonable at $30, with generous portions of bugs and delicious sauce. It was fantastic to see our initially hesitant guest enjoy the meal. I have been dining at this restaurant regularly for the past year and the food has been average. However, during my last visit, the butter chicken was the best I have ever had. The rice was light and fluffy, and when I asked for it to be hot, it was indeed hot. However, I recently revisited the restaurant on 10/7/2010 and it seems like it may have changed ownership. The naan was half burnt and half uncooked. Despite specifically ordering hot butter chicken, it was mild and cold. The samosas were also not cooked through. I had to microwave the food when I got home, even though I only live 5 minutes away. The only highlight was the rice. I left feeling very disappointed.

I recently had a dream about Krish Restaurant. I have been coming to this place for over five years whenever I visit the Gold Coast, and I was a regular customer during my 18-month stay in Queensland. The highlight of my time there was definitely their delicious butter chicken. Whether dining in or getting takeaway, Krish has never disappointed me. The portions are very generous, and I have even had leftover curry for breakfast the next morning (trust me, it's amazing). The staff are super friendly and remember your order if you are a regular. They also offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for lunch on Fridays. I highly recommend giving them a try.

This place was all right, but nothing to write home about. I went twice, the first time getting the vegetarian delight, and the next time getting vegetable korma. Both dishes were a bit bland. Maybe this because I chose mild rather than spicy when they asked? Vegetable korma isn't usually spicy anyway, so I'd expect it to still be full flavored. But the dishes were just a bit watery and flavorless. The first time I went, the naan I ordered was really nice, but the second time, it was soggy and cold. I love the butter chicken! great discovery from the entertainment book! I visited krish after I found a voucher for him in the entertainment book. I ordered the butter huh and to be quite honest, it was up there with one of the most delicious butter chickens I ever had! the size of the meal is great, so I even had some leftovers that I could enjoy the next day!

Yumo. This place is so amazing, Its tucked away, however we had not heard of it untill a friend said lets go, Well all 6 of us were amazed The food had so much flavor, meals were good size, little noisy but that didnt bother us, service for drinks were a little slow but its BYO too which is a plus. All of our dishes were great No complaints on our tabel :

Devi brings us out small serves of Fijian curries to try, more aromatic than spicy, but then our main arrives: four huge Tandoori Moreton Bay Bug halves, dripping in luscious makhan sauce. It’s without doubt our dish of the night, succulent seafood meat in one of the most delicious curries we’ve tasted. Wow! They won’t be secret for long!

Great hidden Gem. A 20 minute drive from Surfers Paradise shouldn't deter you from this hidden gem. The service was great and the meals were really good value considering the portions were extremely generous. The flavours were excellent, the korma and tikka masala tasted amazing. the final Indian restaurant outside asiens. perfectly adapted to the aussie and even to the palate of the distinction. service is timely, personal and charming, prices reasonable.

the personal is friendly, eating is delicious, the butter huhn is the best, and they were fantastic to host my party for 40 people, eating at the right time.
