We both ordered the shredded chicken sweet and sour box, with mine being regular and hers being small. I have loved Wok&Go since I first tried them when I was working in Chester. Every time I go to Chester I try to have a Wok&Go meal and it has always been great food, great service and I have always recommended it to people. However, I tried the Foregate branch and was so disappointed. None of the congeniality I have experienced previously. There is a new policy about sauces now and you pay EXTRA for soy sauce. Imagine if every time you went to a restaurant/ take-away and were charged for the seasoning and condiments ...... somewhat mean. The food was hot (good point), however my noodles were more like tagliatelle, there was one piece of broccoli and a couple of barely there carrot shavings....
We tried to go to the smaller shop near Escapism after an evening of Escape Rooms but they had closed down, not to be deterred we walked 10 mins to the Foregate St branch and we ordered a couple of choose your own noodle boxes and some Panko Prawns. The order was hot and fresh and didn't take long at all. Price was a little high especially as there were only 4 prawns, but this is a chain so it is to be expected. All in all, clean, quick and tasty with good service.

After driving round Chester for 20 minutes looking for a parking space on a Saturday night, we walked into the store at 20:43 to be told by the fat scruffy looking fella they weren’t taking any orders despite 10+ Uber eats orders on the board and the closing time is 10pm.. we’d had a long day shopping and just wanted something quick on our way home.. Won’t be in business long if that’s how they treat paying customers
Terrible customer service. The scruffy looking fella behind the till has no manners atall. Before u can even get in the door they shout it’s an hour wait every time I’ve been. I don’t no why I continue to go cause the food gets worse every time. Defo wouldn’t recommend this place
I ordered the vegan sweet and sour dish. It came with only 2 small pieces of pineapple, one stalk of broccoli, and mostly noodles. The food was bland and I ended up throwing most of it away. Don't waste your money on this dish.
I had the salt and pepper crispy chicken box with rice, tasted burned and was unable to eat it. Definately the worst I've ever had.

Extremely unhelpful staff who wouldn't add a coke onto my order. Simplest of tasks they wouldn't fulfill.
Absolutely the best. Great place to eat and order online. Unusually helpful service. Highly recommending
