The pics don’t do it justice (and frankly, we dug in before remembering to take a pic). This place is absolutely fantastic! My husband is vegan (I am not) and we decided to stop in here while in town based on all the reviews. I was a little unsure whether I’d need to stop somewhere non-vegan afterwards when I planned this as our lunch spot. I did not! At the recommendation of our server, I ordered the soul food plate and (so we could have variety) my husband ordered the Philly cheese sandwich. We walked in and Kev made us feel right at home. The food was AMAZING and found myself not wanting to walk away from my plate even though it was so filling. The owners are really good people, and you can tell they’re well respected in the neighborhood. We sat and chatted for almost an hour to the owner and he’s a really good man. Thank you so much for making a wonderful vegan dining expirence made with love. We will absolutely be back. Best chicken sandwich I’ve EVER had!
All I ordered was the fried chicken salad and the strawberry cheesecake. I honestly was highly disappointed. My total was $19 and the portion for the salad was very small. $11 for this salad is insane.. It was my first time in the area, and I 'm always looking for vegan restaurants because I love seeing vegan businesses thrive.
