Today I stopped by Vegi-Wokery for a quick meal. It had been a while since my last visit, and I was looking forward to enjoying some delicious vegan food. Unfortunately, my experience was not as pleasant as I had hoped. The lady at the counter was unwelcoming and unfriendly when I walked in. Even though I was the only customer in the restaurant, she seemed disinterested and passed me a menu without a smile. While I don't mind seating myself, it was her rude demeanor that put me off. We had been frequenting this restaurant for years and were disappointed to learn that Bonnie had sold it. When we visited and discovered there were new owners, we found the service to be extremely slow and the food just okay. It has been about a year since then, and tonight we decided to give it another try. However, we were turned away when we arrived 35 minutes before the published closing time. Despite there being no other patrons in the restaurant, they refused to serve us, claiming they were closing soon. The reasons given seemed questionable and left us feeling frustrated.
We visit this restaurant regularly and from our very first visit, we immediately felt at home. Our friendly waitress, who feels like a neighbor, remembers our preferences and even patiently allows our eleven-year-old twins to practice their Mandarin when placing their order. We love the delicious food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that we have come to expect each time we walk through the door. This is definitely one of our favorite places to eat!
When I first went, I thought it was okay. eating was super oily for my taste and nothing special. once I went back and it looked like they were eating prep, they had a huge baptism greener buzzing just sitting on the table in the dining area? I have heard that they have new owners since, but it is also more expensive with smaller portions now.

The restaurant has friendly service and a simple atmosphere with reasonable prices. The wonton soup lacked flavor, the kung pao chicken was overly salty, but the crispy chicken was delicious. The veggie fried rice was average but the portion size was small. I may return to try other dishes, but I was not impressed overall.
I was hesitant to stop by given previous ratings and the “B” grade. I also went online to check out how the restaurant earned that “B” grade and was a bit scared. But I finally went after 4 months of thinking about it. I was there for lunch (take out) and was happy with my order
I would highly recommend this restaurant for vegans. The food was delicious and the lady who took our order was very helpful. The only downside is that the wait times are quite long, so I suggest visiting on a day off. The orange chicken is a must-try dish!
Seemed like there was only one cook, plates came out 0ne at a time so by the time my plate came out my partners was already cold

I adore everything about this restaurant. I used to visit often before the pandemic hit!
