The girl serving was super helpful and friendly, pointing out the deals available as it was Thursday plus letting us know that we were just in time to beat the end of happy hour cocktails. I finally had the chance to visit a new vegan restaurant, even though they've been around for a year. I loved the atmosphere created by the staff, especially Elise, who shared the backstory of the place and recommended some delicious dishes. Since I was dining alone, it was lovely to have a chat with her; she was very warm and welcoming. The jackfruit soup was outstanding—huge portion and undoubtedly the best soup I've ever had! We had a great experience as a family of three with a toddler. We ate at Vegivore for three days in a row: two dinners and one brunch. Every meal was excellent. Our favourites were the crispy gnocchi, hashed potato with chive mayo, and the curry. My husband and son especially loved the coconut ice cream and ordered it every day. The space is bright, spacious, and welcoming. It’s dog-friendly, has high chairs, a baby changing area, and multiple toilet stalls, which made dining with a toddler easy. The staff were the highlight. Elise was kind and attentive, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for families and anyone looking for great vegan food in Bournemouth.
I visited Vegivores for a sunny lunch and enjoyed the lovely service, as it wasn't too busy. The gnocchi and mac and cheese were quite tasty. However, the burrito was primarily filled with rice and slaw, lacking in peppers and beans, which was disappointing. Additionally, the “slay bowl” did not include potatoes as stated on the menu; we were informed upon arrival that this item would be missing. While it’s a bit pricey for a casual lunch, it’s great to have good vegan options available. Overall, the food was rated 3, the service a solid 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Wow—Vegivores served the best food we've ever experienced in the UK! Since it was our first visit to this city, we sought out a fantastic vegan restaurant and chose Vegivores based on its outstanding reviews. They did not disappoint! The food was incredible, and the warm, welcoming service made the experience even better. The ambiance was just as charming, creating a truly memorable outing. I loved my bowl of beans, vegan cheese and grains felt nourishing. My boyfriend liked his burger too. Definitely recommend trying the cashew cheese so good. My hot chocolate was decadent. We loved the complimentary popcorn too. The ambience was quiet and pleasant. I think because the seating area is separate from the till, it’s a bit difficult to get staff attention. Otherwise this was great
We have been to Vegivores twice. Neither of us are vegan, but it is great going somewhere that uses ingredients so well. The butter tofu curry was a particular highlight from our latest visit, and the knotted tofu starter was every bit as good as we remembered it from before. A great restaurant!
The most beautiful and amazing meals. Not cheap but well worth the money. Still great. Excellent value. Again, excellent food. Shame it's now closing as a regular restaurant
