Velvet And Vanilla

We came here for brunch and had pancakes, cream tea, and tomato soup. The food was pretty decent. The scones were fresh and delicious and the soup was flavorful. We were served by the restaurant owner herself, who was very friendly but also seemed a overworked and forgot to bring the tea with the scones. Still, it was an enjoyable experience, with a small and cute ambiance. It is a place I would come back to because I had a good experience and am glad to support small but quality neighborhood buisnesses.

Cosy cafe with very friendly staff, who were very accommodating to my dietary requirements. They had no problem making me a vegan wrap which was not on the menu. Food was delicious and the portions were good. Price was very reasonable for the service and the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend!!

Have had several lovely lunches here, the Jacket potato was the best so far! Really love the savoury cream tea the toasties too though! Small, friendly welcoming. Felt very safe with Covid restrictions in place. Will be back after lockdown so hope places like this survive.

My favourite cafe in Bideford. The two ladies are always very friendly and chatty . The food is lush for a good lunchtime snack meal.
