We couple wanted to spend a nice Saturday with accommodation together with relatives 2 pairs/1 single person at Hotel Venner Moor. We had booked the rooms via Booking.com. Das Restaurant liegt etwas außerhalb von Ottmarsbocholt. In der Nähe ist das Moorgebiet, wo man auch spazieren gehen kann. Das Restaurant sieht von außen schon sehr ansprechend aus und im Inneren herrscht eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Parkplätze sind am Restaurant vorhanden, auch direkt in der Nähe des Einganges, was für Kunden die Gehschwierigkeiten haben sehr gut ist. Das Personal ist äußerst aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Wartezeit für das Essen ist im Rahmen. Das Essen ist einfach nur klasse und von sehr guter Qualität. Wir waren schon öfter dort und sind noch nie enttäsucht worden. Das Restaurant mit angeschlossenem Hotel wird von uns regelmässig für Geschäftspartenr und Kunden berücksichtigt. Es handelt sich um ein traditionsreiches, von nunmehr der jungen Generation geführtes Haus. Das Gastgeberehepaar bemüht sich persönlich und weit über das Übliche hinaus um die Gäste. Die Karte ist klein und saisonal bestimmt. Regionale Besonderheiten, die sich aus der Einbettung ins Münsterland ergeben, werden kreativ und variantenreich eingearbeitet. Das Haus ist besonders idyllisch am Rande des Moors gelegen, Stil und Atmosphäre verbinden geschmackvoll bäuerliche, münsterländische Tradition mit den Anforderungen der Moderne.
Wij hadden gereserveerd. Geen overbodige luxe op zondagavond. In deze omgeving is zeker op zondag lang níet alles open. Als aperitief het lokaal bekende fruitig amérie genomen. Fris en fruitig. Maatjestartaar als voorgerecht was fris zuur en prima. Het hoofdgerecht bestond uit 2 schnitzels met sla en frites. Mals vlees en meer dan voldoende. Samen met de vriendelijke en nette bediening €66,= afgerekend voor 2 personen met nog een riesling en en mineraalwater. Goeie keuze.Tip: aan de overkant ligt en kerkje met een kleine wandeling van de kruisgang in een bos met mooie beelden en uitleg. Bijzonder!

Wir waren in Senden für einige Münsterland-Radtour-Tage und haben dieses Restaurant gefunden, bei dem wir 3 Tage lang zur vollen Zufriedenheit aller Teilnehmer der Tour geblieben sind: Netter, unverkrampfter und aufmerksamer Service, bodenständiges und trotzdem sehr feines und nicht künstlich überteuertes Essen. Einfach gut !
Obwohl das Hotel an der Strasse liegt ist es ruhig. Allerdings hatten wir auch ein Zimmer zum Hof. Sehr stylisch eingerichtet, mit Himmelbett und das Badezimmer hatte einen riesigen Whirlpool. Das Essen im Hotel ist sehr fertig. Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert. Ein Hotel in dem man weiss was Stil bedeutet.
Appealing ambience, extremely friendly and welcoming hosts. Any wish will be fulfilled if possible. Large cozy room, large bathroom, chilled drinks in the room bar, all very clean! Restaurant in a very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service. I was very happy and happy to come back.
