Vereinsheim Sportecho

Unfortunately, I can 't confirm the positive reviews. Having become aware of the beer garden through the internet and the beautiful photos of the food on offer, and because we appreciate the coziness of clubhouses, we visited the Sportecho on September 9, 2025, around 5:00 PM. The owner, Heiko Haupt, was completely unprepared for the 4:00 PM opening time and left the premises again. Upon returning, Heiko informed us that only a limited selection of food was available. We gladly accepted his offer of one spicy meat dish and one Karlsbader slice. The food tasted very good and the portions were relatively large. We were there for the dart league game. Rooms are cramped but really okay, service is very good. Only parking and communication are not that great for newcomers. Therefore a well-intentioned 4 out of 5 stars

Zu den Heimspielen des SC Freital wird sich hier auch hervorragend um Speisen und Getränke gekümmert zu guten Preisen. Ansonsten eine ganz normale Sportsbar.

As soon as we went in, the landlord shouted at us. It doesn't make the cleanest impression either. You had to get your own beer. Prices are ok.
