Vertige - Reserva de mesa

C'était samedi soir, donc bien occupé. Nous n'avions pas réservée et avons donc accepté une place au bar. Soirée de filles! Beau resto, belle déco, bon menu et prix raisonnable à première vue. Petit bémol seulement deux serveuses/hôtesses/barmaids pour tout le resto et tout les postes! Bref, ces deux employées faisait tout à elles seules. Chapeau, pour la prestation. Par contre ce n'est pas très agréable quand tu désire passer un bon moment. Ça court de partout, les chaises vibres sous les pas des serveuses qui courent, service froid et sans manière. Au moins la cuisine a fait sortir les assiettes rapidement, et nous n'avons jamais manqué de rien. D'autre part pour la réputation qu'on tente...

Found this on Trip Advisor and decided to go when I saw on their web site that they had a weekday special of 6 tapas plates for $29.00. It was not crowded on the Tuesday night that my wife and I went. It was also more informal and generally less expensive than I had expected. I had the tapas special, which my wife and I shared. You get to choose 3 appetizers and 3 mains, although I couldn't discern much difference in food type or quantity between the 2 categories. We had everything from shellfish to bison. My wife ordered a separate main course of braised lamb. Everything we had was good. There should be items on the menu to please any taste. All seemed very reasonably priced for the quality...

29$ per person for a 6 tapas menue is to our experience at vertige not sufficient to lift the quality above average. This dish is definitely Not recommendable - even thinking of this price as a bargain for the Montreal price range. The tapas are made of average products and in. Ist cases fried in fat without love.The place is described as vegetarian friendly. However there is no vegetarian main dish in offer.... True vegetarians should orient themselves to other places.However Other dishes at Vertige might be better in quality - the place has obviously a history in making great food. However last night it was on steep decline.

This restaurant on Duluth reminds me of many other little restaurants in France. Amazing food ! Relaxed service (in all the senses - meaning a little slow if you're insistent on north-american standards) ! Great wine suggestions ! We always enjoy ordering a couple of plates to share with a group. Last time we went we were two couples, and we got to try most of the entrée menu. Highly recommended ! Reserva una mesa ahora

This was our first time at Vertige and we will certainly go back! The prices were very very reasonable for the portion sizes and the food was great!! I had the escargot and pork cheek and my husband had the tartare and duck cassoulet. We are looking forward to trying the tapas in the near future. Our servers were accommodating - fully bilingual!

Service was outstanding; food was delicious and varied, and the wine (a Cheverny blanc) was tasty and affordable. Tues-Thurs they offer a $29 (Canadian) tapas tasting menu (3 appetizers 3 main courses), which is the way to go. A definite recommendation.

With only 1 waitress and Barboy I thought it was not going to be good. But food was great and service to match. The shrimp was outstanding and the kale salad best ever. Highly recommend.
