My husband and I ordered two sodas, an old fashioned cocktail, the cod dinner, and the seafood sampler, and our bill came to just $38. All meals included a salad and a choice of soup. My husband chose the fish chowder, while I had the cream of asparagus, both of which were delicious! The old fashioned was sweet and smooth. The seafood platter featured baked and fried catfish, perch, fries, and a roll. My husband opted for red potatoes with his meal. The portions were generous—enough for dinner, plus I had leftovers for lunch the next day!
The next time we’re in town, we will definitely eat here again. On a scale from F to A, I rate it an A!
Food is decent for the inflated price. The bingo use to be a lot of fun but the regulars are being pushed out by rude and obnoxious people, some of the old regulars were even threatened, they change the house rules to accommodate the rude people who only show up when the jack pot gets higher. They, the vfw, do not really care about the regulars.
The Fish was amazing!!! The sides were just ok. The tarter sauce was WAY too lemony and the coleslaw and rolls were just good enough... the baked potato was good. But the Fish.... Was frickin AMAZING.... And the service was great!!

The staff is very friendly. They serve amazing fish fries on Fridays and offer unique hot dogs (weenies) on Wednesdays. Their large cheeseburgers are also fantastic!
Best place around to have fish on a Friday. If fancy is your thing, this isn't your thing. Great food at a great price, bar available.
This is one of our go to places for Fish on Friday nights for takeout. Service is great and the food is always amazing.
I attended the gun show and found it to be small, but the people there were friendly and courteous.

The VFW is a nice place to have a drink. Clean and friendly atmosphere.
