The address on this page is down at sea level and is, I believe, where the management lives. But this restaurant is at the top of the mountain (Via Lüera 1 if you care) at the runway terminal with a wonderful view (but wear dark glasses when I was there quickly irrigated with the ultraviolet until I found my sunglasses). The food (and wine) quality of our meal was good, not good, but good, and certainly not the garbage suggested by some of the other reviews. The prices, although high(ish), were certainly not inappropriate for the location. I'd make it right.
What can be said about this restorer, the view, the food that the service is fantastic. We stopped lunch with our son. The food is usually found from a lot and quality in expensive restaurants. The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They had the art that everyone has the feeling that they are the most important customer there. We were lucky to get a table with a fantastic view and a large parasol, which meant to sit and enjoy the meal without burning. The restaurant is worth the 40 train ride on the mountain
I went there with my wife: we had a forfait price for: train, dinner and astronomic view! The service at the restaurant was very frendly and fast. Food was ok (more than ok) and a lot (we were overfeeded)! I think that this place is nice if you go hicking on the Monte Generoso and wanna eat good food and enjoy a good view! Go, is very nice and easy for every kind of guest: dishable, old, children etc...
Endet-up at Self-Service Restaurant and later discovered the beautiful Fiore di Pietra restaurant. Pastry was beautiful and delicious. Next time I try the a-la-carte restaurant that has an interesting menu. If you are there, do not forget to visit the terrace at level 5 which offers a 360-degree view of the magnificent landscape.
