Whenever I read a review complaining about the service, I usually assume the guest was a nightmare and ignore it since I hate those people. But in this case... My wife, 4-year old daughter and I showed up with a reservation to an 80% empty restaurant, sat down outside and ordered a drink. The waiter looked at the cup of hummus my picky-eater kid had and said what is this? then he said your daughter is a person who must order a meal like anyone else. Not sure if you 're ever served swordfish to a toddler, but it does not go over well. Although to be fair to her, she was remarkably quiet and well behaved throughout the whole time like a real person. No other restaurant we 've been to in France (or at home in NYC) has ever had a problem with a toddler eating snacks while the parents drink and eat off the menu. This gentleman was comically rude and smug about the whole thing and we had a delightful meal elsewhere.

Oh, how we each loved our lunch today! Duck parmentier duck confit mixed in herbed potatoes for my husband which, after a bite made me want to grab it and eat it all myself, and for me, a piece of Indian flavored sea bass atop a bowl of arranged goodies: black rice from the Camargue, eggplant, cooked carrots, cucumbers, raw carrots, tomatoes, each individually and deliciously flavored. Gregory speaks fluent English and is as charming and friendly as one could possibly expect. There are so many good restaurants in Uzes that it is hard to choose; but if you want an exciting deviation from traditional French fare and love sitting under a thick canopy of grapevines on a cool patio, this is the place to be. Walk through the antique displays in the front of the old converted church to the back where you’ll find the patio and a darn good meal.

very friendly staff that looked after us. the starters were delicious. the main course was a bit too salty (ravioli) and the heavy fish was cooked medium, but could have had a better seaman. all beautiful location. we paid 185€ for starter and wine and water operations.

Been here a few times now it has the benefit of being open in the off season and has a lovely courtyard with dappled shade in the summer. We were looking for somewhere for a light meal (too many full three course meals in previous days) and this was perfect a tasty quiche with really crispy pastry and a beautifully dressed salad some light Indian spices (but not the hot stuff). If you need it the owner speaks wonderful English. The restaurant is at the edge of an antiques collective for an interesting post lunch wander.
