Just left the Chef’s Bar tasting for my anniversary. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the food to the service to the ambiance the entire experience was incredible. From the moment we entered, Sam made us feel welcome. The Chef De Cuisine Felix cooked each course with impeccable attention to detail and his descriptions of the dishes were captivating as was the brief chat that followed the meal. Felix brought over a fresh shipment of white truffle and allowed us to waft in the aroma and Tommy even gave us a brief tour of their meat aging and salumi operation in the back of house. I had high expectations for this meal but honestly I never expected anything like the experience that we were provided. A perfect evening would not change a moment. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
So glad I finally decided to come here! I’ve been hearing great things about Viaggio’s and decided to take my wife for her birthday. The ambiance is warm and cozy and the staff is very friendly and our server Laura was great and gave the perfect recommendations. We absolutely loved the calamari and each of our pasta’s were so delicious. We will definitely be coming back! Visited Viaggio and really liked it. The food is creative and tasty. The octopus and hanger steak were very good. The polenta and sauce with a little spice go very well with the octopus and the steak was perfectly cooked.The mushroom ravioli was good but a little too sweet for my taste. Remember the name Robbie Felice. This place is something special, and so are his other two restaurants. I have a feeling that name is going to be common knowledge among those who appreciate remarkable chefs. This guy is changing the game in northern New Jersey, and I think it’s only a matter of time before he really blows up! Experience his food now before you need to book a trip to Las Vegas to eat it !
