Very impressed from the attentive service from Gina to the mega fresh ingredients cooked al dente. The food and service couldn't be faulted. We hadn't been here before and it came recommended. Entree we had Pane Naturale which consisted of olives bread n oils and...balsamic vinegar and a Crostino Margherita which was basically a bruchetta with cheese. These were extremely tasty and not the average bruchetta. Then main consisted of Hubby having lamb cutlets and veg as his main of all things at an Italian restaurant but he even raved about the way it was cooked. We don’t dine out during the week but with Valentines Day on a Thursday we decided to try Viale Canova. The full menu wasn’t available but the limited choices provided enough variety. Received a glass of Prosecco on arrival while we looked over he menu...with some complimentary bread and olives. I had air dried beef followed by rabbit ravioli. My partner seafood in a light batter followed by sand crab risotto. Food was excellent! Service and timing between courses left a bit to be desired hence only 4 stars. New staff on the night with limited English and my Italian is hopeless but we got through OK and they were friendly and enthusiastic. Reminded me of our travels last year. Overall a good...

Had a great dinner at this restaurant. Freshly made pasta, great mussels and lovely flavour. Wine list is not huge but some nice Italian wines on offer White tablecloths and friendly service. We had been searching for a good one and we found it. Well...done

What a great find this was! The service is friendly, personal and efficient but the food here is the real winner, so fresh and tasty!i would recommend the prawns with pesto sauce, the lamb rack and the spinach and ricotta ravioli. Definitely coming back.

My husband and I visited last night for the first time. The food was delicious- I had sand crab and asparagus risotto and my husband a veal dish. The service was great and our waitress was very attentive.
