Lost in the middle of nowhere, impossible to get there without a car. When we arrived, we were indicated our table but not escorted to it. We had to wait a long while before we got the menus. And then a waiter quickly passed by to drop a bread basket but no one stopped to ask us if we wanted to something to drink. Before we even ordered our food, a waiter brought two amuse-bouche and walked away as fast as he came. We had to call him back and ask him what it was. He answered: “Some cream with cucumber.” That’s specific. Only after we ordered, the main waiter came to our table and asked if we wanted some wine. I would have expected the wine menu to come along with the food menu... Anyways, we had a long hike so we decided to stick to water. As a starter, I ordered a tartare. While the vegetable cream it was laid on was very good as well as the couple of vegetables in the plate, the tartare itself was merely two balls of raw meat. Seasoned, but that’s it. I’m used to having it mixed with herbs, onions, capers, perhaps some gherkins too. Here nothing. I was therefore disappointed. The other dishes were good but somewhat forgettable. The waiters were running around but always seemed not to notice us and we struggled to get the check. When we got it, we had to call someone to pay by card as nobody paid attention to us after the check was dropped. The service was painful I must confess. Net, we were very disappointed and we left as soon as the meal was over.
