Vicino's Pizza is an amazing pizza and pasta restaurant located close to RDU, operated by a wonderful husband-and-wife duo. It's the type of establishment that deserves your support. The quality and value are outstanding, and the lunch special is a must-try. Everything is freshly prepared to order. The salad had top-notch ingredients and was delicious. The pizza was fantastic—large and reminiscent of classic Italian-American styles. We requested it to be baked a bit longer for that authentic New York taste, and it turned out perfectly. However, the real standout was the customer service. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere. Whenever I needed ranch or takeout containers, they were quick to help. The highlight of their outstanding service happened when I was packing up my food. Without any prompting, the owner asked if I needed a lid for my ranch cup. I was genuinely impressed. Dining there was a true delight. Absolutely delicious! The original Stromboli and pear salad prepared by the unforgettable owner left a lasting impression on me. I truly hope this place makes it through the challenges of the pandemic. Whenever I visit a new restaurant and see regular customers coming in for their favorite dishes, it fills me with a sense of warmth. When the food lives up to the hype, I can't help but join in on the compliments. The owner has a genuine passion and talent for what he does. The hours open say 11-8PM, went back at 715 PM all lights were off and door locked, he did open the door to ask what I wanted, but was out of pizza slices and I didn?t feel comfortable wanting to order anything as they were literally closed an hour early.

I stayed at a hotel within walking distance and, being new to the area, I was pleasantly surprised to find such great pizza and wings. The pizza deal for Monday was fantastic! I really enjoyed the food, and the guy cooking my meal was impressively fast—quicker than any pizza place I've been to. I was in and out in just 5 minutes!
