We stopped at this little diner for breakfast on our way to Melville. It's a typical, roadside diner, come as you are. We were greeted with hot fresh coffee, orders promptly taken and while we waited, I enjoyed the conversation the farmers were having over...coffee. It brought back memories of my dad's farming days, so the atmosphere gets an excellent rating from me. Food arrived, and it was a lot! I ordered the trucker's breakfast and they actually gave me extra bacon because I don't like sausages, I rarely get that from other restaurants, so that was a nice gesture on the cook's part. After reading some positive reviews about this restaurant, we decided to stop for lunch after a long drive. The restaurant, now named Vermako Family Restaurant, had friendly and fast service. However, the food was disappointing. I have eaten at many small town eateries in my life, but the corndog my son ordered had raw dough and my salad had chicken bones in it. The roast beef was very fatty and the salad had a lot of tough core pieces. My husband's clubhouse sandwich looked appealing, but was dry and lacked flavor. Overall, the meal was unsatisfactory and not worth the price.

This is a fantastic spot for tasty food and excellent service. Grenfell may not be very large, and from what I can tell, this diner is the only one in the city. There are also two Chinese restaurants and a coffee house in the area. As a pierogi enthusiast, I had to give it a try. The bowl was so flavorful and filled with gravy, it seemed like it was from a family recipe, but even better. I will definitely be coming back. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the level of service provided.

Stopped for a late lunch after driving for several hours. There were quite a few people already eating. The service was a little spotty at first but our order was taken, our coffee arrived hot and good! Our meals arrived fairly quickly and the...food was freshly made (no warming ovens) and HOT! The food here is quite good and servings quite large, but the service isn't the greatest, and flexibility of options limited. They also run out of food...e.g. they had a hot hamburger steak with mashed potatoes or fries and ran out of mashed potatoes with...only six of us ordering and we were the second table in the door at supper time.

I frequently visit this restaurant on my drive from Winnipeg to Regina. I have had meals here from breakfast to dinner and have tried many items on the menu, including the pizza. I have never been disappointed with any of the dishes. Thank you to Vicki and the staff for always providing great food and service.

Needed to stop to eat on our trip from Portage to regina on Canada Day. Place was just hopping with travelers and town residents. We sat with some people from the town who had extra seats. Super friendly people. Great food and service. Good menu....I would recommend.

Friendly, cozy and casual. It’s your typical small town cafe. Clubhouse was huge and delicious. Everyone in there was smiling and delightful. Next time I go through Grenfell, I’d eat here again in a heartbeat. Reserva una mesa ahora

good, but not excellent. Service staff are friendly, but something speech is challenged. a pretty decent breakfast menu, makes a really good omelette! good coffee, in and out in very short order.

So,to far from restaurant!!! Can’t eat it! I got not what ordered. The bread was burnt down and butter flowed from it. Waiting time around minutes.
