It's the 2nd time I have been to this pub the first time I was discussed with the way the person serving the bar my partner I wanted fish he said no fish I asked for steak we have no steak but it was on the menu I said could you tell me what you do have he said to me there are other places you can eat so I didn't have anything my partner decided to have hunters chicken which she informed me on the way home it was disgusting a few days ago on 25/11/22 I went to the Vic asked for a bottle off non Alcoholic Heineken 330 ml bottle I was astonished when I was asked for £3.60 if I had a drink it would have been £2.65 this is not acceptable so don't go to this pub the OR needs to be looked at
Tried booking for new years eve but told not taking bookings. Turned up early to get a table only to be told by the young man behind the bar we had to move as table was booked. Not happy but agreed as long as there was a table for us. Older gent with dark hair behind bar came over and apologised and had a really good chat. He is the only reason you aren't getting a 1 star review. He even made his way around the pub at midnight to wish everyone a happy new year. Something I thought the landlady should be doing but he more than made up for it.
Always call here for a few pints of their excellent I.P.A. beer. New year’s Eve was no exception. All my Family agreed. Always get a welcome from the excellent barman, despite us being from the Valley’s Ha ha! Always clean, well run and a credit to the Licensing Trade in the big City. Visited on 9/12. Staff were amazing even though it was busy. Prices were what you expect for a pub. They had a singer and he was absolutely brilliant. Will definitely come again soon.

Great welcome, as usual, from staff and management. It was so nice to see families with their kiddies enjoying the warm atmosphere in this fab pub.
Thank you for a lovely meal and great evening. Karaoke was top! We look forward to returning very soon, hopefully with more of us.
Sunday dinner was absolutely beautiful. Done to perfection would 100%recommend and the staff were really friendly and welcoming
Very welcoming pub. The staff are lovely and I always feel very comfortable visiting which I don't with a lot of pubs.

Great staff and great food. Always happy to chat, and make you feel welcome. The fish and chips are huge.
