Victoria's Bagel Bistro

I have been here a few times and majority of them have been less than stellar. My last visit was the last time I will ever sat foot in that store, or purchase anything from this establishment. Shame on the owner for her poor customer service. To grow as a business owner she will need to garner a better attitude and understanding of customer dynamics or she will always be a small little storefront serving low quality food (when/if they get the order correct). Kindness goes a long way. Additionally, and most importantly, as a woman of color, I am very disheartened by her usage of dog whistle words and actions to activate her white woman fragility, as I only asked for a simple refund due to my sandwich not being made correctly. Seems harmless right? Maybe she was having a bad day but I urge her to do some internal work look within to work through her biases toward people of color and figure out why she was so offended by a black woman requesting a refund as any other customer would. I would not recommend this restaurant especially if you are a person of color.

I placed an in-person order at 8:30 am for a plain bagel (not toasted) with egg. After waiting patiently for 30 minutes, I inquired about my order and was told that I never placed it. I showed the staff member who had assisted me, but they denied it. Eventually, they found my order in the POS system. I explained that I had a meeting and asked how much longer it would take. The person at the grill said it would be another 15 minutes. At this point, I was extremely upset. I felt like I was being accused of lying about placing the order. I decided to cancel my order, but the refund process was chaotic, and I received no apology. As a local resident, this experience has been deeply disappointing. The service is consistently disorganized, and this incident was the final straw. I will not be returning.

Only thing that keeps me coming back is the bagels are just that good. However... Multiple times has our food been wrong, taken way too long (20 minutes PAST my online pick up time), or just completely has items missing from the order... the workers just seem to NOT CARE AT ALL lately... DO BETTER!

Good variety of fresh bagels and toppings. I placed a large order of different flavors. Service was fast and accurate. Thank you.

Just got a breakfast bagel and it was so good! Definitely coming back!
