For appetizers, we ordered wings—half mild buffalo and half garlic parmesan. They were fantastic! The chicken was large and perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor. For our main courses, we had grilled shrimp served with a side of green beans, hush puppies, and steamed crab legs with scallions. Everything was absolutely delicious! I think those were the best hush puppies I've ever had—light and airy on the inside with a crispy exterior. The food was fantastic! I ordered the Mahi, my sister had shrimp, and my nephew enjoyed the Mahi with a side of scallops. Although the scallops were small, they were absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with a tasty sauce. The staff was friendly and attentive. I left my sunglasses on the table, and as we were getting into the car, the lady, whom I believe is the owner, came out to return them to me. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness! I will definitely return the next time we visit Ocean Isle!
We had a huge crowd come in later in the evening and they sat us almost immediately. They brought out additional servers for our group and tended to us quickly. The orders were all correct when they came out and they kept drinks filled and beers in our hands. The food was awesome. Some of the better seafood around here. I along with friends eat here on a regular basis. Food is always delicious and a good variety on the menu. Service is great! Never had a bad meal here. I have to say my favorite meal is the Parmesan encrusted grouper!! It’s awesome!! They are always accommodating with large parties too. Don’t mind waiting a few minutes to be seated. We’re on island time.
We had a large boiler here, which was enough for 2 people. The crab legs, oysters, mussels, shrimps, corn, red potatoes and smoked sausage were so good. You have a wait for the food, but you will be good when it comes out because it's good. I highly recommend and we plan to go back.
