My husband and I typically enjoy going out for a nice dinner on the weekends, trying various restaurants like Topaz, Carnivore, The Queen, and Eddie Merlot's. However, when we have our granddaughter staying overnight, we opt for pick-up and dining at home. When Carnivore The Queen was closed for the holidays, we decided to give Victory a try. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience. Despite my husband arriving on time to pick up our order, he ended up waiting for nearly 40 minutes for the food to be ready. I loved everything. My wife and I dine in Elmhurst often, and had passed by your restaurant many times. This time I made a point of coming there and am happy that did so. The wait staff was attentive and our waitress delightful. She explained everything,did not rush us, timed everything so food does not get cold, and made us feel very welcome. The menu was great. I can't emphasize enough how impressed I was with this restaurant. I started off with some amazing oysters during happy hour that were incredibly fresh. Then a deliciously warm, cheese-topped bread with marinara sauce arrived, perfectly complementing my Buffal Empire cocktail. I didn't feel rushed at all, and my shrimp risotto was served at just the right time and was absolutely fantastic. I decided to try this restaurant on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service! The decor and ambiance are high-end. Our waiter, Adan, was very friendly and provided great service. We ordered raw oysters and were impressed by how fresh and delicious they tasted, especially for being in the Midwest. They tasted like oysters you'd find in Key West. We also tried the mussels in white wine and garlic sauce, which were so tasty that I finished them quickly! Wow. My delicious scallops in risotto tasted so fresh that, for a second, I thought I was sitting on an East Coast pier on the Atlantic. Fancy drinks were plentiful and staff was very attentive. Although my family snuck in without a reservation (my wifeis persuasive), I would definitely recommend getting a reservation, especially on weekends. Note: Prepare to pay well for thisfeast, which shouldn't be surprising since this is in Elmhurst after all.

My wife and I went out for dinner in Elmhurst and decided to stop at the oyster bar Shay/Shae. Our waitress was amazing and recommended the perfect meals and drinks for us. I tried a cucumber martini infused with jalapeno and it was incredible. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the cost was reasonable for the quality we received. We can't wait to come back for our next date night. Thank you to the staff at Shay/Shae!

The food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant are excellent! There is a lively and bustling area as well as a quiet and intimate section. The oysters, including west coast oysters, were top notch. Be sure to try the scallop risotto!

The restaurant offers delicious food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere! I highly recommend trying the oysters and the lobster appetizer. The portions are generous, so be ready to bring some leftovers home!
