"I was a little skeptical about Vidrio but it was the perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary. The food was so delicious. We had a plate of short ribs that we have not been able to forget. The chocolate dessert was delicious. David was our server and he was just awesome. The environment of the restaurant is great for a special occasion. Can’t wait to come back."

Lovely restaurant. Our last time here was in Jan 2020 so right before the pandemic. It was great then and is great now. We ordered the grilled romaine salad, short ribs, beef skewers and burrata root vegetable mix. All of the food was 10/10. The atmosphere inside is just lovely and so much to gaze at on the walls. You walk in and feel like you are transported somewhere else in a good way. Emily was a great server and the food runners were all friendly too.The only slight negative I’d say is that it is a very loud restaurant and the tables are very close to each other so you likely will hear conversations very clearly at the tables beside you.
We had such an amazing experience sampling the upcoming menu changes with some staples like charred octopus but adding in duck and wagyu were off the charts!! We had such an amazing experience and can't wait to go back! I will say even though the wait staff was amazing, it is hard to find service with a smile but this place has the best servers! So many places have staff that really don't care but everyone was so friendly and treated us as their best customers even if they weren't our servers. This is definitely a diamond in the ruff because the amazing staff balanced out a perfect kitchen experience! We will definitely be back for more!!!
Date night with my fiance was amazing here..There are a lot of good restaurants in Glenwood south but this place takes 1st place for the service, food, drinks, and atmosphere all being above 5 stars. Shadrea was amazing and we highly suggest requesting her as your waitress. She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu..I can't say enough how much good service means to us and this place delivered. Thank you!.All of the dishes shown are going to be featured on their new menu on August 16th. Make sure to stop in and try these amazing dishes.
Vidrio seems to be an artist's palate from the decor to the food that is served. From the moment you walk through the giant wooden front doors, you are bombarded with an array of colors and textures. There was purposeful attention to detail around every turn. The food was simple, wonderfully prepared and delicious. The presentation was beautiful. It is the perfect place for an upscale dinner that everyone will enjoy. Highly recommend when you are in Raleigh to pay this place a visit.
