Usually this chain is well managed and there is a consistent high standard of quality, service and cleanliness. Not sure what is happening at Holborn but lacking over past few weeks culminating with a very poor experience this week. Unfortunately for the team the computers were down, or at least the display screens, so I suspect they were under some pressure. The areas to collect napkins and cutlery was very dirty with piles of other people's leftovers on the side. There were so many staff serving behind the counter and all shouting over each other, which just added to the noise and lack of coordination. I also noticed that the person serving the soups likes to fill up pots and leave them ab...
This is a chain throughout London. As with many of these types of eateries, I find it too expensive for sandwiches, drinks etc (eg £2.95 for a bacon roll). The food does look fresh, breakfasts look great and the coffee is good. So I can why it 's popular. A nice bright and clean spot with efficient staff. If you 're visiting London and fancy lunch with easy, quick service and a good amount of seating I would recommend. There 's plenty dotted around London. Although expensive for me personally, it 's an ideal location and ideal coffee spot for me so I 'm saying 'very good ' for EAT.
I have recently been to several branches of Eat and have been impressed with them all. This one is not an exception. It serves good coffee and a range of fresh, healthy foods including rolls, sandwiches and hot dishes with counter service. The vegetarian brown roll is absolutely delicious. I think it is a great store for good quality take away casual food.
Went in to get a quick sandwich. I asked floor staff about the ingredients of a couple of sandwiches and she was very helpful in providing the information. But a check out staff was rather glum face. It seemed she was rather bored. Not even a thank you, let alone a smile. The sandwich was ok, usual London prices

I always think they do coffee and sandwiches/soups with a bit more flair and variety.i recommend the Matcha Latte if you need a big caffeine boost or a Matcha Cooler in summer.they have a very good variety of sandwiches and he spicy Vietnamese sandwich is a corker.service is always friendly and fast
Small, but clean and tidy Eat -ery. The drinks range is notas good as at the CaffeNero competitor along Kingsway, but the drinks- po-R-tions are bigger and the prices cheaper. However there are only wooden bench seats, so you are not expected to stay for long !
Absolutely love this place. Foods great and the staff are always super friendly. Always happy to grab a heathy bite from here
Good stop gap to pick up something to eat, wide variety, reasonably priced and good space inside. Staff are friendly too.

We needed some decent breakfast, and Eat did just the job. It's clean and offers nice fresh food. Can't really fault it.
