This was our first Viet meal and we wanted it to be memorable. It was but for the wrong reasons. Firstly, I have to say the food was excellent. Really tasty. But the poor service was sadly the memorable part and needs addressing. Plenty of...staff, but no one rushed to take our order once we put the menus down, we had to ask them after several awkward minutes. I asked for one of the two Viet beers to be told neither were available. So I asked for a Peroni and was served a Corona instead I just went with it. Visited this small restaurant/cafe on Friday afternoon at there was only one other couple in the place so service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and would like to think they would have been even if the place was busier. Vietnamese food...was new to me but the menu was excellent as it described what each dish was. We opted for a starter and main lunch deal as was before for which I thought was acceptable and it included a fizzy drink which I could of done without as there was water already on the table. I am a student from Kings College and this place has saved me so many times. The food is so good lit like godly levels of taste. I went to Vietnam on a gap year and I can say that it’s the exact same stuff...but just transported to South London. Try this place once and I promise you will fall in love. Family run and owned there is nothing not to live about this place. Good value, good food, good people

My sister and I just went to Viet Cafe tonight. The food is diverse, healthy and fresh. Very good value for money, especially in Central London. The place was very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Music was good too but not loud. Will come...back for sure

Came across this restaurant going to the theatre. What a little gem! Food and drinks excellent, staff super helpful and friendly and stunning value for money for theatre land in central London. Cannot recommend this establishment enough!

Really well priced restaurant with authentic Vietnamese food at good prices. We didn't book and half expected to get turned away given it was half term and obviously well placed for the theatres on Haymarket but we got a table.

We weren't particularly hungry and asked if we could just have a couple of starters. They were very accommodating. Food was very nice, staff friendly and I'd definitely visit again

Delicious hot food promptly served by very friendly staff and on my first time trying Vietnamese food, it was a joy to eat and I will definitely be visiting again

Excellent restaurant, great food and great service. The food is fantastic.I would recommend to anybody that likes Asian food.
