Vieux-Lausanne - Reserva de mesa

If I am counting correctly this was my sixth visit to this place within the past two years. To me this restaurant is one of the hidden gems of Lausanne gastronomy. Located underneath the cathedral, and easily accessible from Place de la Riponne (Metro/Parking) the restaurant looks very traditional from the outside, but gives an idea of the food experience when entering the beautifully designed newer part of the restaurant. The menu offers seasonal specialties and all-season classics, plus a daily changing lunch menu. We accidentally found this gem in Lausanne. Although we did not have a reservation and the restaurant was very busy the owner accommodated us on Saturday night. Service was impeccable, the wine menu comprehensive and organized by country and region, ambiance is enhanced with the beautiful plants and landscape that runs through the ceiling of the outdoor terrace. Food quality and the sauces were one of the best we had experienced in the high end restaurants in Europe through the years of travel to the region. We highly recommend it.

Пришли в ресторан с друзьями и в целом все понравилось. Очень вкусные равиоли с трюфелем, жареная фуа-гра и торнедо со сморчками и картофелем дафинуа. Пришлось долго ждать официанта чтоб сделать заказ, но обслуживание было очень дружелюбным и тёплым так как ресторан уже много лет держит одна и та же семья. Винная довольно большая и есть вина на любой вкус. Рекомендую сходить в него любителям домашней, французской кухни.

Extremely rude and disrespectful staff. My partner was unwell, when we tried to cancel a booking we were insulted by a male member of staff who then hung up on us. We have eaten here before but we will never return. Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent restaurant au pied de la cathédrale,accueil par les patrons et le personnel très sympathique.la cuisine est d'une grande qualité avec des plats scandinaves.Je conseil ce restaurant dans un très beau cadre.

We had an excellent evening. Pleasant and friendly service, excellent cuisine, the Nordic plate remains a safe bet, personally I really enjoyed the sweetbreads with black garlic: I recommend!
