our venue that hopes to reach for the heights of the CURRYBOND leader and the topple dosa n chutney is vijaya krishna. 2015 of the former tooting mp, now the Mayor of london and in the rule top tooting bloke, sadiq khan as the best curry in tooting for the annual tiffin cup. vijaya krishna is not in the heart of the Curry Corridor, along the mitcham road it certainly lies with a clean, cream outside and stylish signage. it is certainly benefited from a relatiw newer makeover. as we take our seats, the superb impression is a real restaurant. cordial staff, cozy interieur, other mozens, tablecloths. good quality. place rating 9.3/10 we are back in South India for the curry in offer, but with our limited number we choose our dishes carefully. starters are now regular, prawn puuri and thanks to this we can reopen the bibel with a part of bhajis. the puuri is puffy and the bhajis are crispy, delicious and hot, rewarded with a bhaji score of 9/10. next comes the curry. the selection is good, a beautiful combination of classic options as well as some previously visited South Indian specialties. the currybonders plump for lamb bhuna, butter chicken and after some masala based confusion chiken tikka. we have some parathas and a Pilau rice. it's all, open, delicious. the chicken tikka is carburized and has a deep tikka orange spice, which is juicy and tender. the bhuna is deep and spicy, mild but incredibly moorish and the butter huh is rich and creamy. after nearly 100 curry dishes that have been sampled to date, they recognize the real curry masters. the difference it seems for my amateur curry palate is the deep and complexity of the seasoned without swimming in butter and stabing with salt. it is safe to say that vijaya krishna meets the brand. food supplement 9.0/10 maybe the biggest compliment comes to eating in the offer when we reach the so far unseen...we clean our teller! with a beak comfortable full and a timely finish for the Bond stem comes our bill at £51.50 minus the tip that was automatically added, so an upper end £17.17/CURRYBONBut with beating was worth the good. worth score 7.7/10 classic outside, inviting service, dazzling bhajis delicious curry and cobras in the offer there are no complaining. even the toilets get the thumbs of rimmsy. our currybon these are happy, and duly reward vijaya krishna with the highest score to date. total value 9.2/10

“Unbelievable worth eating was ok until the curries go. we are part of a curry club, looking for the best curry spots in the city to find. we would go back, but we will not tell people about it on our bed. If I could give 3.5*s, I would have given 4 to use the doubt. 3 be good, 4 be very good” 3/5 al 3/5 pheeb 4/5 bude 4/5 harry 4/5 jess

I cannot begin to describe how good this restaurant is. Everything was a 10/10 the decor, the service and the food were all amazing. I highly recommend the Lamb Malabar; hands down the best curry I've ever had. As a first time experience, I can 100% guarantee I will be going again!

Our favourite South Indian restaurant in Tooting. The curries are fresh and they've got great vegan dishes on the menu. Just ask the waiting staff for vegan options and they'll happily help. We even had a vegan Korma with coconut milk. Their Kerala tomato curry is a fave.
